Why your online valuation may not be accurate

Why your online valuation may not be accurate

Sometimes the algorithms get it wrong.

You recently completed an online valuation for your property. By now, I am sure that you have had a chance to read through the report, and you are probably deciding whether to sell or not.

What did you think of the report?

Was the value estimated in line with what you were thinking?

You may already know that online valuations use an algorithm to estimate property values by gathering data online. Because of this, and with the many changes in the property market, your valuation may not be accurate, and the estimate may be lower than your property value.

There is really only one way to accurately value a property. With an in-person valuation appointment where an experienced valuer can properly assess your home. They will be able to compare your property against others, both on the market and recently sold.

Local knowledge and years of experience can not be replicated by an algorithm.

Before you decide about viewing properties and budgets, please arrange for your valuation appointment with one of our team.
