We have put together a few tips on how to boost interest and get more viewings on your property.
- Photography. Do your photographs show the property in the very best light? Are the images blown out or dark and moody? Have you got shots of the highlights and key features of the property? If not, consider having them retaken. Over 98% of all property searches start online, and most photos are viewed before the words and brochure are looked at. If your photos are not great then most people are probably scrolling straight past.
- Rearrange the photos. Perhaps lead with an ‘arty’ lifestyle photo or an interior image to pique the attention of the buyers?
- Have you got a floor plan? According to Rightmove, almost 60% of potential buyers would not even look at a property online that doesn’t have a floor plan. You don’t want to be missing out, do you?
- Is your brochure copy compelling? Have you read the brochure for your property? Is it interesting? Would it make you want to view the property or is it merely a list of rooms and measurements? Consider having the text rewritten to make your home stand out from the crowd.
- Are you selling the lifestyle or just the house? As the saying goes, no one cares about the drill, it is the hole that they need. In this same way, no one really cares about the number of tv points, but they do care about the life that they will have if they live in the property. Make sure that your property marketing sells the lifestyle to your buyers, not just the features.
